Description:

The National ART Strategic Communication Framework directly reflects the outputs of a four-day workshop held in Addis Ababa in November 2004, under the direction and coordination of U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Office (HAPCO), the Ministry of Health (MoH), the AIDS Resource Center (ARC), and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (CCP). The framework is intended to be an integral part of larger HIV/AIDS programs and initiatives (ART, PMTCT, VCT, etc.) in Ethiopia, linked not only to MoH and HAPCO’s current initiatives, but also to the entire care continuum.

The booklet is prepared with the technical and financial support of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through CDC-Ethiopia.
