The inventory assessments for Anti-AIDS Clubs profile in Ethiopia were conducted in all Regional States and Administrative Councils of country. Respondents identified for the inventory assessment were primarily, governmental, non-governmental and civil society officials. From all regions a total of 189 institutions were involved. Governmental institutions were predominant (40%), followed by non-governmental (35%) and civil organizations (25%). Of all the respondents, 20 percent were from regional HAPCO and Regional Youth, Sport and Culture Bureau officials. In addition, NGOs involved with HIV/AIDS activities, FBOs, and donor agencies represented 23 percent, 17 percent and 14 percents respectively. Institutional categories involved in the assessment and their background characteristics by region are presented in the following table.
