The website contains basic information about HIV/AIDS, as well as advocacy guidance, current issues in policy, and treatment information. This organization coordinates annual global conferences on HIV/AIDS. The site features world AIDS news, reports and summaries on key policy and scientific topics, and track summaries and abstracts from conference presentations. The site also highlights some of IASs advocacy, education, and partnership activities.

International AIDS Trust (IAT) - UK

IAT was established to create strategic opportunities for galvanizing leadership, mobilizing resources, and promoting effective interventions in the global battle against AIDS. IAT sponsors public education, program, policy, and networking to facilitate partnerships in the HIV/AIDS community. The site features overviews of IAT projects, press releases, and news.

International Partnership Against AIDS in Africa (IPAA) - International

The International Partnership contains weekly bulletins on the activities of African countries, together with the seven UNAIDS cosponsors and the WHO secretariat, bilateral development agencies, NGOs, and the private sector. The site also features a newsletter and details about upcoming conferences and workshops.

This site contains resources for journalists, an excellent and diverse collection of UNAIDS publications (with ordering info), country-specific, region-specific, and global factsheets and reports about the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and current policy news.

Organisation Of African First Ladies Against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA) - International

This website presents the activities and background of the OAFLA. At the national level, the First Ladies implement their respective Action Plans within the framework of established national policies and with the collaboration and support of governments, National AIDS Control Commissions, NGOs, the private sector and local community organizations. At the sub-regional and international level: The African First Ladies participate in international conferences, and have initiated joint inter-country activities in the central, western and eastern sub-regions.

UNICEF's HIV/AIDS Page outlines UNICEF's priority areas in combating AIDS, primarily focused on prevention among youth, prevention of mother-to-child transmission, and orphan and vulnerable children care and support. The site also features an excellent publications link, events and conferences, feature stories, and photo essays about people affected by HIV/AIDS.

UNIFEM Gender and HIV/AIDS Portal - International

UNIFEM's portal, launched in February 2003, is the first website to be devoted to issues of gender inequality and HIV/AIDS, especially in regard to human rights. The site features relevant links (organized by category), a growing collection of resources (with especially helpful gender tools), news and events, and an opportunity to join the well-known gender-AIDS listserv.

This site serves as an information portal to all WHO activities in HIV/AIDS. The site offers a range of fact sheets on HIV, TB, and Malaria, women and HIV (including pregnancy), and HIV and human rights. The site also offers links to the WHO Initiative on HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections (HSI), the UNAIDS/WHO Working Group on Global HIV/AIDS and STI Surveillance, and Surveillance and Response resources.
