The percentage of uninfected adults who become infected in that year

HIV Positive Pregnant Women

The number of women who are HIV positive who become pregnant

Annual HIV Positive Births

The number of HIV births that occur during the year

Total Births

The number of total births that occur within the year

Total Population

The estimated population size

Annual Population Increase

The increase in the size of the population within the year

Difference in Total Population Size due to HIV/AIDS

Computed as the differences of population size projections prepared under two different scenarios, i.e. population projection in the presence of HIV/AIDS, and population projection in the absence of HIV/AIDS. It is thus a measure of total deaths due to AIDS plus births that would have occurred to those who died of AIDS

Cumulative AIDS Deaths

The cumulated number of AIDS deaths since the beginning of the epidemic

The estimated number of deaths (including AIDS related and others) that occur among the total population with the year

Proportion of  Deaths Due to AIDS (All Ages)

The percentage of AIDS deaths as compared to total deaths among the total population

Total Young Adult (15 - 49) Deaths

The estimated number of deaths (including AIDS related and others) that occur among the population aged 15 - 49 with the year

The percentage of AIDS deaths as compared to total deaths among the population aged 15 - 49

Expected TB Cases in the Presence of AIDS

The expected number of TB cases caused by AIDS and non - ADIS causes

Additional TB Cases caused by AIDS

The expected number of excess TB cases that occurred because of the presence of AIDS

Proportion of TB Cases Due to AIDS

The percentage of TB cases caused by AIDS as compared to total TB cases (that have AIDS and non-AIDS causes) in the population

Expected Life Expectancy in the Presence of AIDS

The average number of years a newly born person is expected to live

Life Expectancy Lost Due to AIDS

The decrease in the expectation of life as compared to what it would have been if there were no AIDS
